Description |
Letter from B.J. Kimbrough in Salt Lake City, Utah to Wilbur Rufus "Red" Milton in Thomasville, October 3, 1943.. Kimbrough writes Milton that while most of the men he was in school with had been sent back east, he will be staying in the west to finish this part of his training. He is being housed in a field house on the campus of the University of Utah with 1,100 other soldiers. He says the campus is small, yet beautiful, but has a "sorry" football team and "sorry" band. He tells Milton he believes the Thomasville High second teams could beat Utah's team. |
