1943 |
Description |
Letter from William "Tiny" Henderson somewhere in France, to Wilbur Rufus "Red" Milton in Thomasville, October 28, 1944. Henderson writes Milton that he hopes to run into some boys from home since he's heard so many of them are in now in Europe. He also expresses that it's "tough" to hear of so many classmates who won't be coming home. Henderson hopes to be coming home soon, along with his wife Pam, and hopes to have a "second honeymoon." They were married for two months when he was sent to France. Pam is in London going through interviews about coming to the states and palns to stay with Henderson's parents when she is allowed to come to America. |
